Fundraising Champagne Classic

Abbeyleix Golf Club is delighted to announce the Drive for ’26 Fundraising Champagne Classic, taking place across two days in early September.
The event is open to members and guests alike, including both Golf Ireland and non-Golf Ireland players. It is an ideal opportunity to bring along friends, family, colleagues or clients for a day of golf and good company at Abbeyleix Golf Club.

Dates: Friday 4th and Saturday 5th September 2026
Shotgun Start: 9.30am each day
Entry Fee: €200 per team of four
Tee Box Sponsorship: €100
Meal included for all participants
Why We Are Fundraising
The purpose of the Champagne Classic is to raise funds towards the purchase of a replacement rough mower. Course presentation is central to what Abbeyleix offers members and visitors, and this investment will help us maintain and improve the standard of the course for years to come.
How to Enter Your Team
BRS has 21 team slots available on each day. To reserve your preferred date, add your name to one of the available lines on BRS to book your team. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
How You Can Help
Support the fundraiser by entering a team, sponsoring a tee box, or both. Every contribution goes directly towards securing this investment in our course.
If you have contacts in business or otherwise who may be in a position to support the event, we would be grateful for an introduction. Tee box sponsorship at €100 is a straightforward way for local businesses to be associated with the club and the day.
